A class action settlement administrator is an impartial third party appointed by the court to manage the implementation of a settlement. The administrator is responsible for communicating with class members, managing the claims process, validating files, and distributing funds, ensuring compliance with the approved terms. Regardless of the type of matter affecting you, we are committed to being proactive in our communications in order to keep you informed of the latest developments in the cases for which we have been retained.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
When Reglex Solutions is involved in a class action, it is because we have been appointed by the Superior Court or mandated by the parties to the case. We may be retained to act as claims administrator, to disseminate notices to class members, to communicate with the class, or to support the parties through our expertise. We therefore play a role that is distinct from that of law firms involved in class actions and do not represent either the plaintiffs or the defendants.
In its role as administrator, Reglex Solutions may be called upon to:
- Communicate with class members: inform the group of the existence of the settlement and of their rights;
- Create online portals: validate claims and manage customer service;
- Develop and manage the claims process: establish the process and communicate with individuals affected by it;
- Distribution: calculate and distribute compensation to eligible class members;
- Ensure payment delivery: issue cheques or process Interac e-Transfers.
